Abel Bond

  Noted events in his life were:

• Occupation: platelayer, at the time of the census in April 1861. ⁶⁶¹ He was then living with his wife, two children and his widowed father-in-law at Bonsells Road, Long Eaton, Derbys. They also had a lodger.

• Occupation: railway inspector, at the time of the census in April 1881. ⁶⁶² He was then living with his wife at Matlock Dale, Matlock, Derbys. Their grand-daughter, Maud Burnham was visiting.

• Occupation: railway inspector, at the time of the census in April 1891. ⁶⁶³ He was then living with his wife and grandson Thomas at Dale Road, Matlock, Derbys.

Abel married Sarah Allen, daughter of William Allen and Unknown, on 1 May 1848 in Cotgrave, Notts.⁶⁸ (Sarah Allen was born circa 1827 in Strelley, Notts ^664,665,666.)
