The Genealogy of Elizabeth Nutt Harwood, of Beeston, 1818-1852
Elizabeth Nutt Harwood was born in Beeston Rylands in 1818. From 1838 to 1842 she wrote a diary which survives at the Nottinghamshire Archives. In 1843 she married her cousin, Thomas Cornelius Nutt, a Lenton butcher. She died in 1852. Her descendants married into the Styring family in Sheffield; several of them had particularly remarkable lives.
