Edward married Elizabeth Scothern on 9 Dec 1832 in Woodborough, Notts.³⁰ (Elizabeth Scothern was born circa 1804 in Notts,¹⁶³ died in Jul 1843 and was buried on 10 Jul 1843 in Beeston Parish Churchyard, Notts ¹⁶⁴.)
