• Residence: 30 Union Street, Beeston, Notts, at the time of the census in March 1901. 17 She was then living with her son. a widower, and his two children. Although recorded as "married", her husband is not present.
Emma married Edward Bywater, son of Edward Bywater and Elizabeth Scothern, on 25 Dec 1859 in Beeston Parish Church, Notts.1 (Edward Bywater was born circa 1837 in Oxton, Notts 2,3,4,5.)
