• Occupation: cowkeeper, by 1833. 22,23 on his children's baptismal records and on the 1841 census. Before that date he was described as a labourer. On one record in 1840 he is described as a publican, reverting to cowkeeper at the census in the following year. By 1841 he was with his wife and family at Town Street, Old Lanton.
Thomas married Rebecca Mee on 29 Nov 1825 in Lenton, Notts.15 (Rebecca Mee was born circa 1806 in Ruddington, Notts 22,24.)
