• Occupation: hosier, at the time of the census in March 1851. 137 He was then living with his parents and sister at Talbot Rd, Cemetary Rd, Nottingham.

• Residence: Clarendon Stree, Nottingham, by December 1853. 138 He appears to have moved there at the time of his marriage earlier that year. He was working as a hosier.

• Residence: Talbot Street, Nottingham, by 1859 and up to about 1862. 139 He lived there with his wife and family and continued to work as a hosier.

• Residence: Carrington, Notts, by 1875. 139 He lived there with his wife and family. It is possible the they moved there as earliy as 1863 as a daughter was baptised in Arnold, Notts in that year.


Haywood married Margaret Farmer, daughter of John Farmer and Sarah Tutin, on 1 Feb 1853 in Nottingham (St Marys).29 (Margaret Farmer was born circa 1829 in Lenton, Notts 106,107 and was baptised on 14 Jun 1829 in Lenton, Notts 105.)
