• Occupation: Civil Servant - Inspector with Board of Agriculture & Fisheries, at the time of the census in April 1911. 8 He was then living with his wife and a step-daughter at Devonhurst, Broadlands Road, Highgate North, London. They employed 3 domestic servants.

• Residence: 31 Cholmeley Crescent, Highgate, Middlesex, at the time of his death in January 1940. 6

• Probate: by Charles Hubert Reed ( wholesale stationer), 13 Jun 1940, London Probate Registry. 6 His estate was valued at £4,930 18s 7d.
