Percival Hebblethwaite

  Noted events in his life were:

• Education: at Rossall School, Kings's College, London and Trinity College, Cambridge. ³⁷ He was admitted pens. at Trinity College on October 8, 1868. and Matriculated at Michaelmas 1869; he was Scholar in 1871, a prizeman, Batchelor of Arts (5th Classic) 1873 and Master of Arts in 1876.

• Occupation: Second Master at Liverpool Royal Institution, From 1875 to 1878. ³⁷

• Occupation: private classics tutor, From 1878 to 1882. ³⁷

• Residence: 9 Brompton Ave, Toxteth Park, Liverpool. ²⁹⁸ He was then living with his wife, two small sons, his mother-in-law and two servants

• Residence: the rectory at East Leake, Notts, at the time of the census in April 1891. ²⁹⁹ He and his wife were probably visiting her sister and her husband; their children were not present (and cannot be found elsewhere).

• Occupation: Assistant Lecturer in Classics at University College, Liverpool, From 1882 to 1898. ³⁷ He went on to be Hon. Assistant Professor from 1898-1904, Secretary from 1900 to 1904 and Registrar at Liverpool University from 1904 to 1913

Percival married Annie Selina Nichols, daughter of Unknown and Frances. (Annie Selina Nichols was born circa 1859 in Cambridge ^290,300.)
