  • Marriage: Gerard John Oldrini on 28 Sep 1824 in Westminster (St Margarets) 1
  • Died: 28 Jul 1870, Hollington, Sussex aged 73 6 7 8
  • Buried: Beeston Parish Churchyard, Notts

bullet  General Notes:

"Her parents were both Suffolk people, though her father's family was of German extraction. I have often heard from her lips that her grandfather was a large agriculturist, having six sons, of whom Robert was the youngest and shortest (he being, at least, six feet in height). Of her mother's early history we are completely in the dark. I am aware, however, that on the death of my grandfather she married a person of the name of Harris. This marriage was an unfortunate one. He appears to have been a worthless character and to have caused her great misery and anxiety. Other troubles too she seems to have had on my poor mother's account who was stolen away from her when a very little girl by an unprincipled aunt and lived undiscovered for some time at Bedford" 4

bullet  Noted events in her life were:

• Adminstration: Rev, Thomas John Oldrini (of Beeston, Notts, Clerk), her son, 25 Aug 1870, Principal Probate Registry. 9 Her estate was valued at under £600.

Elizabeth married Gerard John Oldrini, son of Coesar Oldrini and Agnes Robertson, on 28 Sep 1824 in Westminster (St Margarets).1 (Gerard John Oldrini was born on 21 Dec 1796 in London, St Giles Registation District 10 11 12, baptised in Marylebone, London, died on 25 Sep 1869 in Beeston, Notts 13 14 and was buried in Beeston Parish Churchyard, Notts.)
