• Occupation: shoemaker, at the time of the US Census in 1860 and in 1870. ^395,396 He was then living in Norfolk, Virginia, USA. In 1860 he was with his wife one child and James Loughlin, aged 21 from England. By 1870 the family had grown to four children and James had left.

David married Lucy Meyers. (Lucy Meyers was born circa 1838 in Virginia, USA ^388,389,390.)
